I have always been fascinated by the unknown. I remember watching countless documentaries as a child and eagerly poring over illustrations with a sense of wonder. But I never imagined I would have an experience of my own.
In 2011, at the age of 21, currently residing in Florida. The exact month escapes me, but it was warm enough for a nighttime beach visit. It must have been around 10 p.m. or later. My girlfriend, Erin, and I decided to drive to Englewood Beach to stargaze in solitude. Upon arrival, we were thrilled to find the parking lot empty and the sky clear. We settled into a comfortable spot in the sand and began to lose ourselves in the vastness of the night sky.
As I gazed to my right, I noticed a distant light about 500 feet away. At first, I dismissed it as a house light. But about 30 minutes later, I saw movement where the light had been. It was no longer static; it was slowly rising, growing brighter as it ascended. Strangely, the night was so quiet that any noise would have been audible, yet this light was completely silent.
Within a few minutes, the light became so intense that we could almost feel its heat. Then, at the height of its brilliance, the mysterious light shot out over the ocean with a speed and agility unlike any aircraft I knew of.
(We were the black circle and the red circle was the where the sighting was happening)
Erin and I were left in awe. She even claimed to have seen the distinctive black triangle craft, though I didn't witness it myself. Erin isn't one to fabricate stories, which made her account even more compelling.
Later that year, while browsing the web, I stumbled upon sites where people reported UFO and UAP sightings. I found that others had also mentioned seeing an orange glowing orb in the sky over Englewood Beach. This marked the transformation of my childhood curiosity into a new obsession with uncovering the truth about these phenomena and exploring the possibility of hidden worlds... an aphantocosm.
